It's a little bit weird, isn't it...? [Ren's had the thought himself. He knows there's units from Cray in stasis, not all of whom would be human, but most of the ones he's seen fall into the "pass as human" or human category. He's met maybe a handful of non-humans so far besides Molly, but considering how many people are here overall, that's really not saying much.]
I've met a wolf and a part-wolf, and a centaur, and some other different kinds of people, but it doesn't seem like there's a lot who are the same thing other than humans. It's kind of sad.
A centaur? I've never met a centaur. [His face lights up- the wolves and part wolves he ignores because between the gnolls and the wolves in the Victory Pit, he's had his fill of dog monsters.] That's something to look forward to, anyway.
Yep~ [Ren seems rather delighted himself, clapping his hands together to one side - even though Hayame had been very averse to being looked at for the sake of it, it was hard not to find her a little cool.] She's a little bit grumpy, but she's really strong and amazing too. So you should definitely look forward to it.
Excellent. I love grumpy people. [No, he doesn't, but he loves fucking with grumpy people. They're the most fun. And that shit-eating grin on his face says everything.

So do I, they're really fun~ [Ren says that with the picturesque innocence of a dove, which of course means that he likes grumpy people for the exact same reasons as Molly does. They're funny to play with, and also he seems to have a habit of attracting them anyway.]
But there's a lot of interesting kinds of people here anyway, so I think I'm going to get a little lost between them all...unless they're really memorable like you or her...
If they're worth knowing, they will. All the best people try to make an impression. There's a fine line between staying on the downlow, and making sure every person you meet never forgets the feelings you inspired in them.
[Or so says Molly, the royal vizier of the Questionable First Impression, who is starting to sound a little bit drunk. He stares at the bottom of his empty glass.] I think this liquor is starting to turn me into a sage. This is why it's dangerous to go beyond comfortably buzzed.
[Drunk or not, it's a sentiment Ren agrees with in some manner, and he holds a hand against his chin in a thoughtful little pose.] Oh? I thought it sounded pretty true, myself. It's hard to remember people if they don't make an effort to make themselves memorable.
[Says the guy who routinely uses just that fact to enrage the people who want him to remember them most.] Maybe it's time to go back to the hotel before you get too sagely~
[Or before he says something he can't take back. The reason Ren's avoided getting actually drunk so hard is because he definitely doesn't want to be showing that kind of face so early.]
[Yeah, the last thing Molly wants is to start getting a little too truthy. He nods, stands up, wobbles on his feet a bit, and then gives Ren an affectionate pat on the shoulder as he passes.] Excellent idea. You've certainly made an impression, for what it's worth.
[He might have started mumbling something else, but he cuts himself off to yell towards the bartender.] My darling! One more for the road, if you would, please!
[Ren smiles at the hand on his shoulder, laughing a little as he leans back and then stands up himself. He'd been on his way out when he stopped to talk to Molly anyway, so he might as well keep heading that way.]
Mmm, you'd better hope that's not the the last one you really regret, right? You're already getting distracted~ [Judging by the fact that he'd sounded as if he was going to say something before shouting to the bartender.]
Oh well. I guess I won't be around to see it anyway. [He winks as he starts to step back in the general direction of the door.]
